March is Women’s History Month, and we want to honor the women in our lives and the community that make a difference.
THE WOMEN AT PROGRESSIONS
Did you know that Progressions Salon Spa Store is woman-owned? Our owner, Cindy Feldman, works to make sure our team and guests always feel supported and heard. The day-to-day operations of owning a business can be taxing, but Cindy does an amazing job supporting her team, keeping things organized and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Speaking of teams, the Progressions team consists of 46 women—which makes us 91.67% woman-operated. Whether a stylist, nail-tech, colorist, spa technician, or member of our support staff, each of these women come together to help our salon provide exceptional service—and we couldn’t be more grateful.
WOMEN INSPIRE OUR COMMUNITY
At Progressions, one of our core values is working to support our local community while making our guests and team feel like their best selves. We love to see other local businesses that strive to make positive differences, and we love that there are so many successful woman-owned businesses like this right in our backyard.
You can find some of these local brands right on our shelves, including Sprayology, the wildly popular line of homeopathic wellness sprays, and Aluminate Life, a line of crystal therapy and aromatherapy products for your home. And on the tastier side of things, we thoroughly enjoy supporting the woman-owned bakery near our salon, Gwenie’s Pastries–(seriously, try the Ube Cheesecake.)
