Nail Technician

The Nail Technician is a skilled service professional responsible for delivering elevated nail services while upholding the luxury standards of the salon. This role requires technical precision, refined guest service, and full immersion in the salon environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-driven, and attentive to the needs of both guests and the salon as a whole.

Nail Technicians are expected to combine artistry, efficiency, and professionalism while contributing to team culture and achieving individual performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality nail services, including but not limited to:
  • Manicures and pedicures
  • Gel and structured gel services
  • Nail enhancements and extensions (acrylic, gel, or other systems, based on certification)
  • Nail art, shaping, and finishing to luxury standards
• Deliver a premium guest experience through thorough consultations and personalized service
• Maintain expert knowledge of nail products, tools, and service offerings
• Meet or exceed monthly service and retail performance goals
• Adhere to all salon standards for sanitation, cleanliness, and safety
• Manage appointment timing effectively to support optimal book flow
• Build lasting guest relationships to encourage retention and rebooking
• Communicate clearly with Guest Services and leadership to ensure seamless scheduling and service execution
• Remain fully present, engaged, and supportive of the salon team during scheduled shifts
• Anticipate guest needs and address concerns professionally and in real time
• Participate in ongoing education, training, and skill development as required
• Actively recruit new guests, post consistently on personal social media platforms, and share salon content to showcase work, support professional growth, and drive cross-referrals. Capture and share personal work with the marketing team to contribute to salon content and collaborative marketing efforts.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Valid nail technician license (as required by state regulations)
• Advanced certifications or specialty training preferred
• Experience in a professional or luxury salon environment strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency and excellence
• Sales-driven mindset with the ability to achieve monthly performance goals
• Polished, professional appearance; fashion-forward and brand-aligned
