The Guest Services Representative is the cornerstone of the salon experience—serving as both the first impression and the final touchpoint for every guest. This role blends elevated hospitality, sales excellence, and operational precision in a fast-paced luxury environment. The ideal candidate is polished, fashion-forward, composed under pressure, and deeply committed to delivering an exceptional guest journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, professional, and elevated welcome to all guests; manage seamless check-in and check-out experiences
- Answer phones with confidence and poise; schedule, confirm, and optimize appointments
- Sell and manage time on the book to support service provider productivity and business performance
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals, including retail and service recommendations
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of all services, product lines, and current promotions
- Act as a liaison between guests and service providers, ensuring clear communication and flawless execution
- Anticipate the needs of both clients and service providers, resolving issues in real time with discretion and professionalism
- Ensure all required waivers and guest documentation are completed accurately
- Remain calm, solution-oriented, and gracious during high-volume or high-pressure situations
- Support daily salon operations and perform additional duties as needed
- Actively recruit new guests, post consistently on personal social media platforms, and share salon content to showcase work, support professional growth, and drive cross-referrals. Capture and share personal work with the marketing team to contribute to salon content and collaborative marketing efforts.
Qualifications & Attributes
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, customer service, or sales preferred
- Strong sales acumen with a guest-first mindset
- Exceptional communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to think quickly and solve problems with confidence and grace
- Professional, polished appearance; fashion-forward and brand-aligned
- Tech-comfortable with booking systems, phones, and basic computer applications
- Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-driven
