Introducing The Beauty Well

Thank you to our loyal guests and partners for supporting our community outreach initiatives over the years. Each year, throughout our Anniversary month of September, we select an initiative close to our hearts to raise money for. This is our way of celebrating, in a bigger picture way.

This year, for our 32nd Anniversary, we have actually created a new initiative. It benefits Caregivers in the WDC metro area and is called The Beauty Well. The Beauty Well is our way of giving Caregivers in our area the break they need.

Caregivers volunteer their time and resources to support friends and family members in need. Their efforts are extremely taxing and are often overlooked. We’ll be holding raffles and selling tickets the month of September, and would love your support for this special cause. We’ll keep you posted!

Why Caregivers?

Caregivers are the unsung heroes of our health care system. Close to 45 million Americans provide 38 billion hours of unpaid, “informal” care each year for family members and friends living with chronic conditions.

Caregiving roles take on countless shapes and forms: assisting older adults, the ill, and disabled friends and family members. They help every day in small and big tasks. But if their caregiving responsibilities become too demanding, over time they become exhausted and stressed.

Family caregivers give over 75% of caregiving support in the United States.
