On a recent Sunday, five Progressions team members spent their day off … cutting, styling and grooming! They volunteered their time and talents to give haircuts to residents at Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless in Rockville. MCCH provides solutions to end homelessness in Montgomery County with the vision of building a community where everyone has a safe, stable and affordable place to call home.
The Progressions team was made up of expert men’s stylists Navan, Kevin, Diego, Dani, and Shae, who were all very excited to be part of this project. Navan and Kevin were the team leaders of the initiative. The reward of offering this service was to see the smiles on the faces of the men at the shelter, and to know how much a new look can dramatically improve self-confidence, boost prospects for work, and improve their outlook in general.
We love to give back at Progressions, and giving shelter residents a hand is just another way for us to say “thank you” to the community who has supported us for 31 years.
